I thought the previous restaurant at this location was bad, but Snappers has set a new high in low.
Tonight I ordered the owner's special Great Britain Indian Chicken Curry dish. Not only was the sauce thick enough to hold fence posts in place they completely forgot to add the chicken. When I pointed out the problem to the bartender he shrugged and returned to other duties.
About 15 minutes later, after we had finished eating and had presented payment, a side dish containing the missing chicken was delivered. It wasn't even cooked in the sauce, instead it appeared to have been grilled and then drowned in sauce. The chicken meat was as tough as shoe leather.
Although I was offered a free beer - never did the bartender offer to take the cost of the meal off our tab. Needless to say a tip was not forthcoming.
The best thing about Snappers is that the food can't get any worse. I hope that, if they read this post, they'll make some attempt at slight improvement. |
