I have eaten at the Mint more than once. The food is always good. The atmosphere is loud--the entire restaurant echoes and it's hard to visit. The one thing that frustrates me is the staff. At one visit, a few friends and I went in just for dessert and were told that next time we would have to order dinner, as they don't just do dessert. The next time I went with a friend--we ordered wine, dinner and dessert. After we ate we were visiting and told we HAD to move to the bar to visit because they needed our table for other people. I've never heard of this before!! So unprofessional and rude. I won't be going there again, their manners leave much to be desired. |
